Bodybuilding Gains, Mind Muscle Connection VS Strength. I have to say that both are equally important. First, the connection to the body and the muscle gives you the necessary feedback to not only fire the muscles and move, if you can't feel a limb you won't be able to move it, but connecting to your body gives you the necessary feedback in order for you to make decisions about how to move and WHAT to move. So in essence, both are needed so that you can gain muscle. The necessary awareness to make wise decisions about what weight is appropriate for you to life at any given time so that then you can gain in strength or endurance by moving that weight. Some people make the mistake of thinking that the strength increases that also give you muscle should take place in only a certain rep range, but that just isn't so. Being able to move a certain weight for 10 or 15 repetitions and then being able to move MORE weight for the same amount of repetitions is ALSO a gain in strength, and this will result in more muscle mass.
